    Free University Journal of Asian Studies is pleased to announce the opening for submissions for Issue No. 8.

    Submissions deadline is JULY 15, 2026.

    To submit a paper, the authors must register with the Journal or, if already registered, can simply log in.

    Submitted papers should follow the Author Guidelines listed on the Journal’s Submissions page.

    All manuscripts submitted for Issue No. 8 of the Free University Journal of Asian Studies must comply with a new requirement for the disclosure of generative AI use. Manuscripts must meet this requirement, which is a necessary condition for peer review. This policy is intended to promote transparency, research integrity, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.

  • Generative AI Declaration for Manuscript Submissions

    Since March 2026, all manuscripts submitted to the Free University Journal of Asian Studies must comply with a new requirement for the disclosure of generative AI use. Manuscripts must meet this requirement, which is a necessary condition for peer review. This policy is intended to promote transparency, research integrity, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.

    Authors must disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by including a statement in the core manuscript file. The use of basic tools for grammar checking, spelling correction, reference management, or similar routine editorial assistance does not require declaration. If no generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used in the preparation of the manuscript, no declaration is required.
